The Xtreme/104 adapters are proof that quality design makes a difference. This versatile group of four and eight port adapters are perfect for embedded and industrial control computing needs. Their minimal size and reduced power requirements don't diminish their ability to reach data communication speeds between 50 and 460.8 Kbps (RS-422/485).
The Xtremes are rugged, and built with ease of expansion and modularity in mind. Connect Tech offers
RS-232, RS-422/485, extreme temperature and optical isolation versions of this popular PC/104 product.

The Xtreme/104 RS-232 model is the perfect, cost-effective option for situations requiring basic RS-232 connectivity. Quad UARTs provide 64 bytes of transmit and receive FIFO buffers. Supported operating systems include Windows CE, Windows XP, Windows 2000/NT, Windows 95/98/Me, Solaris, Linux, QNX 4 and QNX 6.
