Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
or equivalent
- 3-5
years
electrical/electronics design experience

Familiar with serial communication and PC-based CAD tools,
as well as, knowledgeable in VDHL and ADHL languages,
embedded processors, network protocols, DSP and FPGA
-
Working knowledge of PCI, PCI Express, PC/104 and
PCI-104 interface boards
Skills
and Responsibilities:

Capable of disciplined work and assume technical and project
leadership accountability for completion within design,
budget and schedule limitations

Able
to prepare detailed written plans, calculations, designs,
specifications and material lists.

Experience with the design, layout and debugging of PCBs

products, systems and services.

cost analyses for sales and management approval

Create
and enter product labels in database

Create,
enter and maintain worksheet/bill of material forms

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities:

Perform assembly or modification tasks on electronic
components, including assemblies, disassemblies, modifications, reworks and repairs.
Soldering, diagnosis, testing and inspection of printed
circuit boards is also required.
Education and Experience:
-
Engineering
Technician/Technologist college diploma and 2-4 years
related experience
-
Experience with
electronic assembly, fine-tip hand soldering touch up and
rework of printed circuit boards using surface mount technology and through-hole
components is critical
- Training and experience in ESD procedures and
operation of essential tools including microscope and soldering iron
is crucial
Skills:
To qualify, the candidate must have strong PCB
assembly skills and be able to work from a BOM and/or schematic to IPC 600/610 workmanship standards.
Strong English language comprehension is a must as is dexterity for working with small components.
Must be able to follow direction and have good interpersonal communication skills.
