Connect Tech Releases Full-Featured Sync/Async Adapter for the PC/104 Bus

Noting a lack of full-featured choices in the marketplace, Connect Tech now offers the option of a synchronous/asynchronous adapter for the PC/104 bus assembly. Built to the same high standards for which all Connect Tech products are recognized, the new ComSync/104 offers two channels of innovate I/O structure for your sync/async communication needs.

Loaded with quality features at a reasonable price, the ComSync is ideally suited for a variety of embedded applications. It offers numerous benefits beyond those of similar cards, making it one of the easiest-to-use products available. The enhanced I/O mode, for instance, allows the Enhanced Serial Communications Controller (ESCC) registers to read/write in one PC/104 bus cycle.

Users will save valuable setup time through the elimination of the redundancy of setup functions with the  inclusion of 85230 ESCC Register Bit Cloning. If security is an issue, peace of mind is available by opting to secure the software to the use of Connect Tech hardware. Programmed into the card during manufacturing, this security feature is fully customer specific. Another great feature is the ComSync's flexibility, enabling a multi-protocol line interface.

The ComSync offers fast data reception and transmission, at 20 MHz ESCC. With two channels and DMA support, the ComSync/104 will ensure your system's data transfers are reliable and quick.
