announce the next generation in reconfigurable FPGA
products:
FreeForm/PCI-104.
FreeForm/PCI-104 provides high speed data
communications, signal integrity and a powerful, versatile
platform for design flexibility. “We understand that an
efficient balance of FPGA components is imperative for
maximum system performance,” said David Worthen, President
of Connect Tech. “For this reason, Xilinx’s multi-platform
Virtex-5 was incorporated into
FreeForm/PCI-104’s design.” The effective balance of
logic fabric, on-chip RAM, DSP blocks and user I/O ensures
performance targets can be met easily while reducing system
costs.
FreeForm/PCI-104 is a flexible, reconfigurable board
that combines a user programmable FPGA with a 32-Bit, 33 MHz
PCI-104 interface. The advantages of PCI-104’s high
bandwidth, along with the versatile FPGA architecture allows
users to create a high speed data interface and control
solution that is uniquely suited to each individual
application.
System developers will appreciate the
performance enhancing features that
FreeForm/PCI-104 has to offer. The innovative design of
FreeForm/PCI-104 provides 3 million logic gates, 100MHz
clocking, 128MB DDR2-400 memory, 8MB Flash, 2 x10/100
Ethernet and 2 x RS-485 serial interface; all on an
industrial temperature grade platform.
Combating the most demanding design issues
will be made easy with the rugged design and flexibility of
FreeForm/PCI-104. This user programmable and
reconfigurable FPGA board is perfect for high speed,
compute-intensive, real-time applications including: DSP,
avionics, industrial automation, defense systems,
transportation, semiconductor, radar and radio signal
monitoring, to name a few.
