FlashDrive/104 is a flash based solid state storage solution ideal for rugged applications.  Designed with the latest NAND technology and no moving parts, FlashDrive/104 offers a robust, reliable replacement for magnetic hard drives that can be prone to corruption and mechanical failures.  “FlashDrive/104 is perfect for any application that requires a high tolerance to shock, vibration or extreme temperatures,” said David Worthen, President of Connect Tech.

Connect Tech considered not only the need for enhanced performance improvements, but also, the importance of challenges that can arise as a result of external disturbances when designing FlashDrive/104.  As a result, this solid state drive was engineered with components capable of enduring harsh conditions and high density flash memory chips to provide immense storage capabilities for reduced latency and rapid data transfer. FlashDrive/104 also features an on-board flash controller that provides bad block management, error code correction and an embedded Flash file system to protect and retain data files and programs.
