Tech’s robust Xtreme/104-Plus product family now adds
optical isolation.
The embedded computer standard of PC/104-Plus
combines the best of the Universal PCI bus with the rugged
and compact form factor of PC/104. With the addition of 3kV
optical isolation protection,
Xtreme/104-Plus Opto offers the ultimate
communications solution for any mission critical application
exposed to harsh conditions.
The stackable, small form
factor of PC/104-Plus is low on power consumption and rugged in
performance. Designed to operate within a -40°C to 85°C
temperature range and coupled with 3kV optical isolation,
Xtreme/104-Plus Opto is an attractive application
solution for the Industrial and Embedded PC market.
Fully PC/104-Plus compliant, the
Xtreme/104-Plus Opto retains reliability in the
harshest of environments. Model options include two or four
jumper selectable RS-232/422/485 ports. The RS-422/485
interface supports full duplex, half duplex and multi-drop
communication modes. Ports can be configured independently
for baud rate, parity, data and stop bits. Maximum baud
rates are 1.8432 Mbps (RS-422/485) and 921.6 Kbps
(RS-232).
