Connect Tech’s established BlueStorm/Express
family now offers three optically isolated options to
further protect your PCI Express applications.
As the demand for increased communications
performance continues to rise, Connect Tech maintains a

Currently, Connect Tech’s BlueStorm/Express product family
offers the following PCI Express solutions:
BlueStorm/Express - a standard PCI Express serial
communications solution
BlueStorm/Express Opto – a PCI Express serial
communications card featuring 3kV optical isolation
BlueStorm/Express LP Opto – a low profile PCI Express
solution featuring 3 kV optical isolation
BlueStorm/Express Opto (1kV) – a unique PCI Express
card offering 1kV optical isolation on four of eight ports
and surge suppression on the remaining four ports

to be hardware configurable for either RS-232/422/485 in
single port increments. BlueStorm/Express cards are
compatible with x1, x4, x8 and x16 lane, PCI Express slots.
With the added protection of optical isolation and baud
rates up to 921.6Kbps (RS-232) and 1.8432 Mbps (RS-422/485),
BlueStorm/Express ensures the best possible performance for
your serial communications.
