Connect Tech Announces Important Certifications for its
Ethernet-to-Serial Devices!

Connect Tech Inc. formally announced today
that its
Blue Heat/Net Ethernet-to-serial devices have become
IECEE certified and UL listed.
Blue Heat/Net products ease expandability for local area
networks (LANs). The
Blue Heat/Net provides a method of networking serial
devices so that they do not require traditional serial
connectivity. These Ethernet-to-serial devices enable users
to add virtual serial ports wherever needed, while allowing
the ports to be controlled from anywhere on the network or
via the Internet. “As a player in the global market, Connect
Tech realizes the significance of complying with recognized
standards around the world,” said Michele Kasza, VP Sales.
“We have taken steps to ensure our Ethernet products receive
IECEE and UL approvals.”
Both the Worldwide System for
Conformity Testing and Certification of Electrotechnical
Equipment and Components (IECEE) and the Underwriters
Laboratories (UL) are product safety certification
organizations that write and apply product safety standards
around the world. Connect Tech is pleased to inform that
both organizations have given certification to our
Blue Heat/Net devices.
IECEE’s CB Scheme test certificate attests that products
receiving this certification have passed test conditions and
are in compliance with the requirements relevant under IEC
Standards. The UL listing for Connect Tech’s
Blue Heat/Net devices indicates that our equipment has
been investigated, tested and found to comply with the
Standards for Safety as written by the UL. Please see below

Blue Heat/Net is compliant with.
