Connect Tech's Blue Heat/PCI Awarded Microsoft's Designed for Windows XP Logo
Connect Tech offers Microsoft signed drivers.

Guelph, Ontario - February,  2003

Connect Tech Inc., designer and manufacturer of multi-port serial adapters, is pleased to announce the release of signed drivers in cooperation with Microsoft's  "Designed for Windows" Certification and Logo program.

Connect Tech has always designed and rigorously tested its products for compatibility with supported operating systems, and the presence of Microsoft's digital signature and logo further ensures the end user that Connect Tech's drivers and hardware meet or exceed Microsoft's compatibility requirements.

The Blue Heat/PCI Windows XP driver is the first to go through the testing process and be awarded the designation. Software for hardware products with the Designed for Microsoft Windows XP logo has a digital signature from Microsoft, indicating that the product was tested for compatibility with Windows and has not been altered since testing. It also allows the user to check for the latest driver updates in the Windows Update in Help and Support Center.

The logo indicates that customers using the Blue Heat/PCI in XP environments will have the best Windows XP experience. It promises the product:

• Will not interfere with other programs
• Will install and uninstall without requiring you to restart your computer
• Will not cause your computer to crash
• Will not overwrite files that are needed by the operating system
