convenience of on-board power set the Blue Heat/PCI RJ-11
serial card apart from the rest. With rapid data transfer rates up
to 1382.4 Kbps, and 8 asynchronous RS-232 ports, this is
an ideal industrial strength solution for applications that
require powered serial ports for magnetic card readers,
barcode scanners, weigh scales, and those serial peripherals
not requiring power. The Blue Heat/PCI RJ-11 is also ideal for
communication and control of industrial automation equipment.
