The CAN technology used in Connect Tech's CANpro CAN controller cards offers tremendous error detection and a confinement ability that significantly reduces the burden of the microcontroller, thus

CANpro/104 Opto combines the power of two NXP SJA1000 CAN
controllers with the compact size and rugged stability of PC/104. This CAN controller card features fail-safe power-up/power-down and on-board high input impendence transceivers to maximize nodes on the bus. Jumper selectable slew rate limiting reduces radiated emissions.
CANpro/104-Plus Opto is based on a PC/104-Plus
bus. The design frees up valuable I/O space offering you greater flexibility within
your embedded system. For even more I/O, CANpro/104-Plus Opto
includes an 8-bit GPIO header.
