The Xtreme/104 2.4 GHz Low Power Radio Modem provides wireless,
long range communications for your embedded PC/104 application. Fully PC/104 2.5 compliant, this card
incorporates Cirronet's WIT2410 2.4 GHz frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) technology.
The FHSS
technology provides immunity to jamming and multipath fading, ensuring transparent, robust
communications. It also offers roaming
capabilities, eliminating the need for re-synchronizing when moving from point to point.
The radio transceiver provides
reliable wireless connectivity for either point-to-point or multipoint applications. Certified
in both North America and Europe, this product offers
license-free use and worldwide compliance.
With the appropriate antenna, the 2.4 GHz radio modem has an operating range up to
900 feet indoors, and over 6 miles outdoors.
