Arrays (FPGAs)
Field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) are
devices that contain programmable logic and
interconnects. Incorporating FPGAs into
the design of Connect Tech's development boards
ensures that users are able to program or
configure boards to perform basic logic gate
functions such as AND and/or XOR, as well as,
more complex combinational functions such as
decoders.
Since FPGAs
are field-programmable their advantages include;
a shorter time to market, the ability to
re-program in the field at run-time and lower
non-recurring engineering costs. Connect
Tech's reconfigurable FPGA development boards feature the
Xilinx Spartan 6, Virtex 6, Spartan-3E and Virtex 5 FPGA.
FPGA Reference Designs

Connect Tech's FPGA
development boards are
pre-loaded with full featured designs which enables communication through the
PCI-104 bus to the control and register portion of the FPGA device. In
situations where additional features may be required, Connect Tech's FPGA
development services can be used.
